Brian is Managing Director of Council Advisors.  Brian leads strategic and operational advisory for clients, having been a leader of the Technology, Private Equity and Corporate Finance practices at McKinsey & Company, working across sectors, including Insurance and Financial Services.  Brian was the Chief Corporate Development Officer at Guardian Life Insurance, responsible for Marketing, Customer Experience, Business Development, Venture Investing and Communications and was the President of the Group Benefits business, Previously, Brian led Strategy, M&A and Marketing at Thomson Reuters, the professional data company, and led the transaction selling the Financial & Risk business (now called Refinitiv) to Blackstone for $20 billion.
